어느새 우리는 2012년의 끝자락에 서 있습니다.  
여러분은 한 해의 끝을 어떻게 보내고 계신가요?
언제나 그렇듯 가는 해를 보내며 아쉬움과 후회의 순간들이 떠오릅니다.
하지만 우리는 이제 이 모든 아쉬움을 뒤로하고 밝아오는 새해를 맞이할 준비를 해야 하겠지요.

연말에 하나씩 전달되는 달력으로 새로운 해가 다가오고 있음을 실감합니다. 
달력은 누군가의 책상 위 또는 벽면에서 묵묵히 우리와 한 해를 함께 합니다. 

현대카드, 현대라이프, 현대캐피탈, 현대커머셜은 새해맞이 준비의 첫걸음으로 2013 캘린더를 제작하였습니다.  
전체적인 컨셉과 구성은 2012년의 252•366 캘린더를 유지하되 이 달력 안의 모든 컨텐츠를 당사 고유의 서체인 유엔아이 모던체로 구성하였습니다.
달력의 한쪽 면에는 우리에게 익숙한 월화수목금토일의 주7일과 절기, 특정 날들이 표시된 달력을, 다른 한쪽 면에는 일하는 날만 적혀있는 달력이 있습니다.
달력은 2012년의 252•366 캘린더에 비하여 가로, 세로 사이즈를 늘려 가독성을 높일 뿐 아니라 메모 공간 또한 확보하였습니다.
칼라는 기존 블랙에서 그레이로 하여 보다 더 밝고 따뜻한 느낌을 전하고자 하였습니다.

1월 달력의 트레싱지 목표설정 빈칸에 새 해의 밝은 포부를 적어보시는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다.
처음의 달력은 모두 같은 모양, 같은 내용의 달력일 것입니다. 그러나 하루, 한달, 그리고 한 해가 지나갈 무렵에는 세상에 단 하나뿐인 여러분 각자의 고유 캘린더가 되어 있을 겁니다.

2013 캘린터의 매 월 앞장에는 tracing paper가 있습니다.
일반적으로 투사지, 기름종이로 알려져 있는 트레싱지는 자칫 밋밋하고 흔해 보일 수 있는 달력에 감성과 차별화를 줍니다. 
트레싱지에는 나만의 개인적인 일정을, 뒷면의 달력에는 회사 업무나 기타 공식적인 일정을 기록해 보는 건 어떨까요?

 
" 3월14일은 π 데이 입니다. "
현대카드, 라이프, 캐피탈, 커머셜 4사 공통 달력 3월의 멘트 입니다.
3월14일이라 하면 대부분의 사람들이 화이트데이를 떠올릴 것입니다.
하지만 조금은 새로운 발상으로 'π 는 3.14' 라는 숫자적 접근을 하여 재미와 금융회사로서의 아이덴티티 또한 높였습니다. 

끝은 또 다른 시작입니다.
새해가 밝아오면 언제나처럼 따뜻한 봄, 무더운 여름, 형형색색의 운치 있는 가을, 그리고 새하얗게 눈 덮인 겨울이 오겠지요.
시간이 가고 내년 이맘때쯤 여러분의 달력에는 즐겁고, 소중한 추억들로만 가득 차 있을 것입니다.

현대카드 디자인랩은 어제보다 오늘이, 오늘보다 내일이 더 행복할 여러분의 2013년을 기원합니다. 

The year 2012 is coming to an end.
How are you spending the end of the year?
As always, the end of the year is accompanied by sorriness and regret.
However, we should prepare for seeing the old year go and welcoming the New Year in.

Receiving calendars, we can realize the New Year is coming.
On somebody’s desks or walls, calendars are always with us silently for one year.

Hyundai Card, Hyundai Life, Hyundai Capital and Hyundai Commercial produced the 2013 calendar as a New Year’s promotion.
For the general concept and structure, we kept the style of the 2012 252•366 calendar but the font was replaced by our own font – You&I Modern font.
On one side of the calendar, there is a calendar showing seven days, the solar terms and holidays. On the other side, there is a calendar indicating working days only.
The size became larger than the 2012 252•366 calendar, improving legibility and providing space for writing a memo.
The color also changed from black into gray, giving bright and warm feeling.

What about writing your New Year’s resolutions in the top blank of the January page?
At first, every calendar has the same design and contents. However, when a day, a month and a year has passed, you will have your own calendar.

There is a sheet of tracing paper on the first page of each month.
The tracing paper, which is generally known as oiled paper, adds sensibility and differentiation to a calendar, which would otherwise be dull and common.
What about writing your personal schedule on the tracing paper and company affairs or other official schedule on the other side of the calendar? 
 
“March 14th is π day."
This is what is printed on the March page of the common calendar of Hyundai Card, Hyundai Life, Hyundai Capital and Hyundai Commercial.
The day March 14th would remind most people of ‘White Day.’
However, we approached the day from a new level that π is 3.14, giving fun and raising identity as a financial company.

The end is another beginning.
After the New Year has begun, there will be warm spring, hot summer, picturesque fall and white winter, as always.
Around this time next year, your calendar will be full of enjoyable and precious memory.
